Where Will You Be This New Year's Eve?

Let the countdown begin! We will be home where it is warm, safe, and familiar ....ringing in the New Year with mini and a few families we've met.

Where will you be this New Year's Eve? Have you thought of a resolution yet?

I agree!  I did it once and never, ever feel the need to do it again.  It's a "must do" - especially as a NYer - but really for everyone.

We usually do a quite at home with the kids.  When they were really little my best friend lived in London.  She's call just before midnight her time at whatever party she was at and they'd listen to the countdown.   We'd toast and make noise back, stretch yawn and say, "We'll it's midnight, so off to bed."  Only our time, it was 7pm.  *sigh* I miss the days when they were so easy to punk.

This year we are going to a swanky hotel and doing the "scene" and be seen thing.

really?  i've lived in the NYC area basically my whole life and never felt the desire to go to Times Square on new years...none of my friends/family have ever gone either or care too.  i dunno...maybe i'm just too casual about it cause i know i can go if i decided to last minute...

as for what i'll be doing?  lets see...i think home alone with a couple of bottles of champagne, The Honeymooners/Twilight Zone marathon, Chinese food, and wearing the shortest, sparkliest dress i can find, sounds just about right.  although my friends tell me this is unacceptable and they will be dragging me out of the house.  good luck to them.
