WTF?

Talk about global warming!  WTF is going on in NYC??  It's August for goodness sake.  Not only is it not hot, this rain is driving me crazy!!!  Got caught in a downpour and it ruined my shoes!!  Ugh!  And, worst of all, it's fall like weather!  I loooooooove the fall.  My favorite season.  But, I'm so confused!  Don't know what to wear anymore! It's like 60 degrees in the morning...oh Ozone layer...goodbye...

I'll take this over the freakish heat wave we had in early June any day!  Yesterday was neat, the storms were all very localized.  Channel 7 news caught some of them last night from above the ground, it was really cool, like a pocket of rain over Secaucus,  but when I looked out my window less than 10 miles away, not a cloud to be seen.  Like the Adam's Family house, just, over all of Secaucus.  Meanwhile, I swear I didn't see a single drop here yesterday.

Lucky you!  I stepped out of the train and it started pouring.  The rain was bouncing off the sidewalk and splashing me all over the place.  It lasted about 20 minutes but it was really bad.  When I looked over to the downtown area it was beautiful and sunny.  So random.

Re: WTF?

It's cool here in the Northern Kentucky/Cincinnati area, too.  It's making me sad thinking that fall and winter are right around the corner.  Should be hotter than hell this time of the year.

I'm not really complaining, though.  Wonderful weather, no rain.  My aunt and uncle are up here from Florida and loving this.

Hey fellow New Yorker,

Talk about crazy weather. Monday...it was HAILING! In freaking August, can you believe it?! It was like a scene from a movie. I thought I was trapped in the Twilight Zone or reliving moment from The Day After Tomorrow. I'm not into the whole bible thing....but revelations is starting to look more and more scary with each natural disturbance that occurs.

Oh I know!  It's been unreal weather.  And, I hate when it's humid and hot, and all that but, I was actually shivering on Sunday night as I walked home...like goosebumps, cold hands...it's August!!  Sigh...

Re: WTF?

I know what you mean. Monday I went home after work to shower and change before I went to see Sweetness, and I came out in shorts and a t-shirt....I was freezing. However, I was too reluctant to go back and change. I'll be damned if the weather cuts my summer short!
