Your ACH payment has been rejected

I get these a few times a week.  Below is an email containing a fake
notice telling me that an ACH transfer was rejected.  ACH (Automated
Clearing House) transfers happen when you pay your bills online through your
account on a web site made available by your bank.  This email wants me to
click on the report "document" (link removed before posting here).
Hovering my pointer over the link, I saw that it was a shortcut to a web site
and is not actually pointing to a Word document.

Caution on these.  They are not from your bank - they are fakes and
should be deleted.  The web site on the other end of the link may contain a
malware tripwire or clicking the link may identify your email as active (you'll get more
spam).  Then it might only be advertising for erection pills shipped from

If you do get something similar that seems to be from your bank, call your
bank using a phone number you have gotten yourself and not from the email.

The ACH transfer (ID: 3131780384610), recently
initiated from your bank account (by you or any other person), was rejected by
the other financial institution.
