YourSavingsClub.com and CreditDiagnosis.com - Ripoffs ?

TAGS: yoursavingsclub.com, creditdiagnosis.com, scam, ripoff, creditcard

I received a credit card statement which shows a $1 charge for YourSavingsClub.Com. I contacted the credit card company and they gave me the number to contact YourSavingsClub. Coincidentally, when I call the number it demands that you enter your yoursavingsclub.com membership number in order to proceed. Of course I was lost in the loop for like 20 minutes. So I called the credit card company back to report it as fraudulent. There is also a $1 charge for CreditDiagnosis.Com. The Credit Card rep explained that sometimes merchants will first send through a $1 charge to determine whether the account is active and when they receive confirmation they come back with bigger charges. My Internet search revealed that yoursavingsclub and CerditDiagnosis.com are the same companies operating under different names.

Just thought I'd post a heads up here. Anyone have any experience with merchants like YourSavingsClub or CreditDiagnosis.Com?

Re: YourSavingsClub.com

Yep, those pricks got me as well. On top of that I ordered another report thru one of the major bureaus and the scores came back completely different. So, not only was the info. wrong, now I can't get anyone to cancel the membership. Only resort was to cancel the card used and wait to get a new one. BEWARE-THESE GUYS ARE CROOKS AND FRAUDS!!!

Dear Friends,
Watch out for this scam, I too have been a victim. Look for the phone number next to the charge on your statment an choose to discontinue your membership, done. Your out one dollar.

Re: YourSavingsClub.com

I've just noticed these charges on my credit card. Is there a direct number that I could call without having to go through the "Loop of the Dammed"? Thanks for any help you can give.

Regards.

Re: YourSavingsClub.com

I hope you didn't call them. Go directly to either your cc/dc provider (VISA/Master Card) or your bank the card is from. What may happen is an additional charge of even a greater amount. Note:
This amount is random. You can stop a single charge through your bank, but if the amount changes by even one cent. You can be hit again.
