Re: Yoville: Is this a scam?

OK .... I see what you are going through .... I had the same problem, but now I have everything back thanks to zynga ! She was very kind to me and helped me get through my pain and anger....I told her what was taken ..... ( money, yocash, items ect) I went on to the site I got told of by my friend and it told me to send a message to this email. I thought for one moment it was a friend trying to scam me...but how could I be that selfish shes my best mate!So of course I took her advice.I opened my hotmail account and started to compose a new letter....I had also been told I need to enter the following ( EMAIL,PASSWORD AND DATE OF BIRTH,AND WHAT YOU USE FOR YOVILLE) I didnt hesitate to stop right there and say no I wont do this if it wants my password...but I did anyways.I wrote.....Dear Zynga....I am writting to you to say I have been scammed money, yocash and items. If you can help me this would be FANTASTIC ! your faithfully kimberley.I then got a letter 24 hours later saying .... Dear Kimberley you can not acces your out for the next 24 hours while we are doing your request......If we do not get around doing it leave your password the same so we can acces it later your faithfully zynga. As the letter said I didnt go on for 12 hours. Finally the 12 hours was over i went to my Facebook account and clicked on yoville and there stood and stared at me all my items and the ones i requested with the money and yocash I wanted ! Hope this helps ... bye x

Quote from http://www.yoville.com/faq#6

"be aware of email scams claiming to be from Zynga Customer Support and
asking for your email address and/or password.
*Zynga will never ask for your email and/or password*.
Please be aware of obvious scams such as emails ending with "@gmail"
or "@yahoo" etc, as those are not associated with Yoville/Zynga."
